My IE has been auto-completing text input for some time now (whether it be
Google search phrases/eBay searches etc) and I am concerned regards the
potential size of the file it draws upon (also, needless to say, the issue
regards potential passwords/other confidential phrases/numbers stored in
it) - where on my HDD do I find the file that deals with this in order that
I can occasionally delete it... also can the function be turned off?

It uses the Registry but is encrypted.

AutoComplete, User Names and Passwords on Forms:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet
Explorer\IntelliForms\SPW

AutoComplete, Web Addresses:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Protected Storage System
Provider\<user name or windows logon name>
