IOS ERROR ON AMD K6/2 500 ON WIN 95

I need to know if I how to install the k6 update files on
window 95.  I can not get to windows 95 start up before I
get the IOS error and restart computer.

What's the exact error message? Word-for-word and complete, please.

There are many possibilities. You can go to xhttp://aumha.org/search.htm and
search on "IOS" and you will find multiple categories of error message
mentioning this.

Open the update file with WinZip and extract the files to a
floppy.  Then copy to the problem computer as follows:

All versions
ESDI_506.PDR  c:\windows\system\iosubsys
SCSIPORT.PDR  c:\windows\system\iosubsys

Windows 95 OSR2 and later
HSFLOP.PDR    c:\windows\system\iosubsys
CDFS.VXD   c:\windows\system\iosubsys
DISKTSD.VXD    c:\windows\system\iosubsys
IOS.VXD   c:\windows\system\vmm32
INT13.VXD   c:\windows\system\vmm32
VFBACKUP.VXD  c:\windows\system\vmm32

Windows 95 OSR  2.1 and later
NTKERN.VXD    c:\windows\system\vmm32
