My friend reformatted my son's win 95 and now it wont
detect the cd drive. I get an a prompt and a c prompt but
how do I get the thing back so he can use it? We can't get
to the win 95 screen at all.  Thanx

Use one of the utilities at www.bootdisk.com to create a Windows
95 boot floppy.  The floppy will include drivers that support
most cd-rom drives.

To reinstall Windows 95, boot with the floppy and then type
r:\setup (with your Windows 95 cd in the cd-rom drive).
