invalide  system disk

every time i start my computer it reads  invalide system
disk.what does this mean and how do i fix it.

Get a Win95 startup floppy. Boot from that. When you get to the A:> prompt,
type the following:
SYS C:
then press the Enter key.

Remove the floppy and restart the computer. Let us know whether it boots at
that point - if not, we need more information.
