I have a laptop that came pre-installed with Windows 95 that I had updated to Windows 98 SE.  I have finally transfered all the data over to my new laptop and am reformatting the hard drive.  In order to complete this I need a number off a certificate of authenticity from Windows 95.  Mine unfortunately is long gone.  How would I go about obtaining one?  Any ideas?

solved my own problem...a quick email to the computer manufacturer and they supplied me with a new code.  If you are in the same boat, you might want to try that
