CD Rom Problem

Getting my old computer ready to give to charity, I
reformatted the hard drive, inserted the "Startup Disk"
but an unable to re-install Windows 95 from the CD drive,
which is says is not there.

The standard W95 emergency startup floppy does not include support for CD
drives.  You can get a utility to create an upgraded W95 startup disk with
CD drive support at www.bootdisk.com.
