CD ROM Installation Problems

When installing Win95 on my PC the computer with the
Win95 CD Rom the computer says for the D Drive is
an 'invalid directory.'  Our other computer (Win XP
laptop) doesn't have a floppy disk drive so we can't get
an updated startup disk.  What do I do?

Buy a USB floppy drive for the laptop.

Then use one of the utilities at www.bootdisk.com to create a
Windows 95 boot floppy.  Your CD-ROM drive will then be r:
