there are 5 stages to booting windows95 on my old sharp
laptop but at the 5th stage the one after the flag screen
it comes up with something it never has
before :...........crystalware(tm)audio initialization
utility,version2.50t1 (c)crystalconductor corp.all rights
reserved.
* plug n play bios detected.
* sbpro: i/0=220, irq=5,dma=1.
c:/
press any key to continue...

and then when u press any key it reboots to the first
stages so i can never get to desktop.it loops back to the
start round and round does any one know how to stop this

Try checking autoexec.bat file on your c: drive. If you have it, see what is
in it. (Boot either to safe mode (by pressing F8 during windows boot), or if
the safe mode does not work try loging to safe command prompt)

If you don't understand autoexec.bat stuff, please post its contents to the
newsgroup (or read docs on the Internet and try to figure out what is going
on :-) )

Possibly you installed some new drivers that do not want to work.

Regards,
Yuriy
