I am trying to help a handicapped person whose computer runs W95.  Is there
a way in W95 to make the left mouse button open shortcut links with just one
click?  I know you can do it in later Windows but there does not seem to be
a way to do it in W95.

Thanks.

Should I understand from the absence of replies that there is no way to do
this in W95? No utility?

I can't find anything in the Accessibility features that would allow that.

I'd suggest looking at your mouse driver, as I can program any of my old
Logitech's 3 buttons & wheel to be any of :

AutoScroll   Click/Select   Close Application   Context Menu/Alternate Select
Copy   Cut   CyberJump   *Double-Click*   Drag Lock   Explore My Computer
Find Computer   Find Document   Home Pointer   HyperJump   HyperMenu
Main Windows Help   Maximize   Middle Button   Minimize   Minimize All
Paste   Recall application   Run   Scroll Bar   Start Menu   Task List
Unassigned   Undo   Undo Minimize All   Universal Scroll
[Backspace]   [Ctrl]   [Delete]   [Enter]   [Escape]   [F1]   [F2]   [F3]   [F4]   [F5]
[F6]   [F7]   [F8]   [F9]   [F10]   [F11]   [F12]   [Page Down]   [Page Up]   [Shift]

If your friend does any Internet browsing, you might want to assign the double-click
to the right button instead of the left, or you may find a hundred assorted windows
opening up when all you wanted was the weather report.  :)
