Just like Tracy I am having similar problems all I get is
black screen and the Message "Invalid System Disk", I
have tried eveything thing!!

I just got a used computer (6 years old) from my employer
for my kids.

Before they gave them away they formatted the "C" drive
or hard drive?.

I purchased a windows 95 cd to load it, for the games and
learning cd's for my children.

Followed the instructions for set up it tells me "Invalid
System Disk", replace the disk and
press any key.

Ahhh!, how do I get this thing to work!!!!?????

Please help.

Use one of the utilities at www.bootdisk.com to create a Windows
95 boot floppy.  Watch the screen and you should see that the
cd-rom drive has been recocognized.  Type r:setup at the command
line to start Windows setup.  You may need to change your BIOS to
recognize the floppy drive as the boot device;  how this is done
will depend on your motherboard.
