I put in the floppy and followed instructions to put in
Master CD which I did and waited until it restored the
files......I was then prompted to tack out CD and turn
off computer and then turn it back on which I did several
times and I get everytime a black screen with a -flashing.
I wait hoping Windows will load....I hasn't.  I also F8
and went into Safe Mode and Windows is there and can
navigate around to files...but after shutting down...and
turning it back on...nothing except where the computer is
on and trying to load? MSDOS says starting Windows 95 but
then it starts ...goes black and I see the -flasshing
dash!  Can someone help.  I only need to reformat it like
new to use for my kids....some tutoring lessons. Help I
have done this now for 2 days....Reply to the forum or to
me personally at         KRobb8758@aol.com.
Thanks so much!

have you made any hardware changes since you originally got the machine?
thay could account for the problem.

if not, do a ram test and try again if ok
