Windows 95 mess

I was given a Packerd Bell about 4 years ago that runs
Windows 95.  I have no disk for it and have just now began
trying to clean it out and see what it can be used
for...possibly for my kids.  My personal eMachine runs XP
and trying to decipher 95 is like Greek to me.

Is there any way I can override a "password request" at
startup?  I cancel out of it and Windows boots but it's a
nuisance.  I also get a message on bootup that a
symantec.system.ini file is missing.  I thought Symantec
was a Virus Software....if so how can I delete that
message....the computer doesn't have a virus software on
it and it wont because it wont have internet access yet.

I'd appreciate any advice with this mess.  Just hoping
through trial and error I could get this operating before
I sink money into it.

Thanks in advance.

Uninstall Norton Antivirus:
Start, Settings, Control Panel, Add Remove Programs
