rebooting windows 95

i am trying to reboot an old computer that crashed with
windows 95. it gives me the prompt message what is the
promt ot restart the windows 95.

If you are trying to reinstall Windows, go to
http://www.bootdisk.com/bootdisk.htm and create a
boot floppy.  Use it to start the computer, insert your
Windows 95 CD, type "R:\win95\setup" and press
"Enter".

If the computer is stopping at the C:\> prompt then try entering the
following commands in sequence:

EXIT

if that doesn't work try

WIN

if that brings you back to the C:\> prompt try

WIN /WX

Note: if the WIN command gives you a "bad command or file name"
response then there is a major problem.
