Tracey:
The various boot and shutdown screens are located in the following
files:
C:\LOGO.SYS (Windows 95 Startup Logo.)
C:\WINDOWS\LOGOW.SYS (Windows 95 Please Wait For shutdown Screen.)
C:\WINDOWS\LOGOS.SYS (Windows 95 Safe to turn Off screen.)
Dispite the .SYS file extention these are graphic files 320 x 400 x 256
colors in the Windows bitmap format. They are hidden system files so you
will have to use the DOS ATTRIB command to see and load them or Windows
explored has a "Show all files" option somewhere.
