While upgrading W95 to W98SE, my computer locked up.  Now
I cannot run either of them.  When computer boots, it
shows W95 and then gives message, "Invalid VxD Dynamic
link to device number 1, service 19E.  Run setup program
again to correct this problem."  When I run setup program,
nothing changes; same message.  HELP!!!

Can you still startup in Save Mode ?
(Boot , press F8 choose "Save Mode")?

If not...
If all else fails (someone else got a better suggestion?),
do clean install ??

E.g. remove W95, make backups of your documents etc.
(All this can be done from DOS. Boot, press F8, choose Commandline
(don't know how it's called in English language version). Remove
Windows directory (C:\Windows\command\deltree c:\windows) or format
c:)
Boot from W98SE bootflop and install (don't know if W98SE CDROM is
bootable).

remove all cards except video n add them back in one at a time (rebooting
between) you should find where your problem lies
.
