superVGA driver reinstall?

1.My wife defragged our hard drive and deleted what she
thought were useless files. Since then we have been unable
to match display settings with the video card causing two
problems; a)display is 'fuzzy', probably just 16 color and
b)display is too wide causing us to pan right endlessly.
Searched for driver to download, can't find.

2.I'm getting two error messages:

Go to Control Panel and then go to System, or Right-Click on My Computer and
then click on Properties, then click the tab named Device Manager; Look for
Display Adapter and click on its Plus + sign and click on whatever icon is
under it; Click on a Driver tab, the Update Driver button, supply the Video
driver diskette or CD, either the Windows CD or the one included with the
card, if it was added afterwards, to the corresponding unit and finally
press OK on as many open dialogs. Reboot if necessary.
