After buying a digital camera I need to upgrade Windows95
to 98. I´ve got the installation CD and I do as it says in
the instruction book, but...
1) when I try to upgrade 95 I get a box with "this version
of 95 can´t be upgraded  and...
2) when I do a new installation I don´t have a startup-disk
Can anyone help me?

you can trick the installer by renaming the file   win.com  (in your windows
folder)
then reboot and use your cd support bootfloppy.

later you will be asked if you want to install windows in C:\windows.000

be sure to say "no" and select "other" folder...
then specify c:\windows   and the win98 installer will effectively upgrade
your win95
