When using Excel or Word in Windows 95, it takes about
30 - 60 seconds to save a file that is 100kb or so. It
did not do this when first installed. What's up?

Try cleaning out your My Documents folder. Archive stuff that's not current
to its own location, and keep My Documents for what you are currently
working on only.

Still not working correctly. When Excel is opened new, it
will close normally - in a second or two. If it is opened
and not saved, it still takes around a minute to close.
Saving the file takes longer but not much. It used to
work OK......James
