My problem started when I tried to upgrade from 95 to 2000
using an evalution disk that I had from a previous
Microsoft class. BIG MISTAKE! Not only did it not finish
the upgrade or give me a warning of the disk expiring but
it wiped out my operating system and there are no files in
the c drive. There are files in d drive. I always get the
error message "Operating System Missing." Can someone
please give a step by step on how to resolve this. I
really would like to have my computer back. Please help!!
Thank you

If your computer was old enough to have win95 on it...
it's not too likely it would run win2000.
Not only that, it is better to do a clean install rather than an upgrade...

You will probably best off to just format your drive and reinstall win95

If you need a cd support bootdisk you can get on from www.bootdisk.com

to format just boot with the floppy and issue the command     format C:

here is a link that tells you how to install windows
http://freepctech.com/pc/001/003.shtml

the only difference is that the disks from www.bootdisk.com
will assign the letter R:  for your cdrom
