iobup.exe not found

A virus scanner found that "iobup.exe" was suspect and it
claims to have healed it. However, the system can't find
this file anymore and all applications I want to start
complain about it.
What happened and how can I repair it?

Your scanner presumably deleted it and rightly so.
Use this Swen fix to restore the .exe association:

(download, right-click, select Install)
