upgrade to win2000?

hello and happy new year. i just wanted to know if it was
possible to upgrade an operating system from win95 to
win2000. do i have to upgrade my pc to win98 before going
to win2000? all your help is appreciated.

To use win2k you should do a clean install

*however* if your machine is old enough to have win95 on it...
it's not likely your machine will run win2k

although win2k will work on as little as a pentium-200
you will need at least 196 megs of ram! 256megs or more is desirable
