Windows Forum / Windows 95 / January 2004help!
I was trying to upgrade to Windows 98 from 95, somehow, while trying to delete windows 95 i only deleted the win.com file. So I was stuck in MS-DOS and unable to get back to Windows. I then formatted C: and now cannot access the computer without a boot disk, so i tried downloading from Bootdisk.com, it downloaded, i saved it onto disk, put it into mycomputer, but it didn't work. I now have a windows 98SE CD a windows 98SE boot disk, and a boot disk from bootdisk.com. Nothing works! Someone out there must know what i can do to resolve this, please help!! dave. Please note that the downloads at http://www.bootdisk.com/bootdisk.htm are programs that you download and double-click on a working computer. They will not work if you simply copy them to a floppy.
