I am having a problem loading Earthlink.  It indicates
that it is having a problem reading the media.ini file.
The computer was purchased with Windows 95 installed.  I
do not have a copy of the operating system.  Can someone
supply me with a copy of the media.ini file.

There is no "media.ini: on the Win95 CD.
Please supply the EXACT error message, taking care that it is correct.
There are messages like  "659 The media .INI file refers to an unknown
device name".

You may want to repost at microsoft.public.win95.dialupnetwork as it
looks DUN related.

It is not a Windows file, it is an Earthlink Dialer file.
Contact Earthlink support, and have a look here:

Error 667: Cannot read media.ini file / Use Dial-Up Networking instead of the EarthLink Dialer:
