f-prot for dos reports a executable file in the windows directory
called iou6002 and says it is a possible backdoor trojan  and/or a
system insecurity. does any one have any info on this, can it be
safely removed?

my operating system is windows95b and i am running a free version of
zone alarm.  thanks!

If the file can't be cleaned you have no option other than to delete it. You
can check the file by googling on it, and you can look up the details of the
particular trojan at the virus dictionary of an AV software supplier, such
as F-Prot or Symantec.
