I am trying to install Tax Cut 2003 and it requires a socket 2 update. I cannot find a download for it for Windows 95. Tax Cut support claims it should be on Microsoft web site.

Their claim is right.

Winsock2 update

ws2_32.dll is the Winsock2 Update for Win95.

gTools/W95Sockets2/Default.asp
Read all the info on the web page, and all the links. Also linked on
that page is the Year 2000 Update for Winsock2 which must be installed
afterwards.
