I'm trying to install a tax package for my mother in law.
She's running win95. The program won't run because it
needs oleacc.dll.
There was one reference to this program in the knowledge
base but it referred to win98. None of the downloads
refer to this accessability program.
Is oleacc.dll a workable option on 95 computers? Where
can I snag a copy?
Thanks

This place has a "dummy" oleacc.dll file for Win95 which may or may not
work. You can't use the WIN98 version on WIN95. Download the file and
put it it the C:\Windows\System directory. If it don't work no harm is done,
just delete the file. Scroll to the bottom.

How do I resolve the error message "A required .dll OLEACC.dll was not found" when starting TurboTax?

-Insert the TurboTax CD into your computer's CD-ROM drive. If prompted to install TurboTax, click Quit.
-From the Windows taskbar, click Start and choose Run.
-Click the Browse button.
-From the Look In drop-down list, select the CD drive containing your TurboTax CD (usually Drive D or E).
-Double-click the IE folder, and then double-click the file msaardk.exe (you may need to scroll down to see this file).
-In the Run window, click OK, and then click Yes at the message "Would you like to continue?"
-Follow the onscreen instructions to finish installing Active Accessibility.
-(Recommended) Reinstall TurboTax by following the instructions on the QuickStart card included with TurboTax.
