In the last 2 weeks, on various websites I get the message
that Explorer must shut down with the option to send or
not send an error support. The icons seem to go between
the desktop and the tower with further references to
eliminate the problem, but nothing is happening. This can
really happen anytime on any site and is very distressing.
Previously, I had no difficulties reaching any sites. I
have an dedicated online connection to the net from
Cablevision in New York. They verify no problem from their
end. What's going on here since I never had this problem
before. System is a Gateway 2000 that I purchased in 1998.
Also, when logging back and forth, I am not directed to
the opening website (MSN.com) that I've chosen in OPTIONS.
It directs me to 'about.blank'.
Very frustrated here!
