Dear Jeff,
It is happend when the first time the computer is on, so there is no running
program at that time, no background running program.
On the screen, after all the icon appear and the status is idle, I find that
the harddisk (lamp indicator) still running for a while, after stopped, I
check the size of swap file is around 70MB, few days ago only 36MB.
I like to reduce this because it takes quite lot of space.

You can boot to DOS and delete the file, as Windows will re-create it next
time you start. You can only reduce the size of the swapfile by reducing the
applications you are running or by reducing the memory requirements of those
applications. If your swap file has recently grown, then perhaps you are
now running more applications automatically at startup than previously.
