I would like some information on how to update win 95 to
win 98.  How do I go about this?

Assuming that your hardware supports Windows 98, buy an upgrade
or retail (_not_ OEM) Windows 98 CD and run setup.
Windows 98 SE (second edition) is recommended.

Backing up your data before any software change is good IT
policy.

Purchase an retail upgrade and install it. I would suggest win98SE instead
of win98. It may be difficult to find since it is no longer being
distributed. Try ebay
