OPS W 95 loaded in Comapq Desk top Presario 7222.
OPS is not loading - Tried with W 98 start disk for lack
of W95 Bootable disk.

Procedure used: Press start button with W98 bootable disk
in A drive;
Message do you want to use W95 CD in CDROM drive ; Said Y.
PC Started and gave error message " Device Driver not
found ABORTING INSTALLATION !
Another time error messge Deive not found ; no cdrom drive
selected  !
I checked the connections; They all look good.
Q1. Should replace the CDROM drive itself? If I replace
will not again ask for MSCD0001 driver ?
Q2. How to load driver MSCD0001 ? How to  download
MSCD0001from another desk top from which LOCATION ?
Appreciate your help.

WHY I AM doing this ?  Want to fix it and give to people
who would like to learn MS Office 97 ( Word, outlook etc)
Thanks a bunch,  Padman d

go out to www.bootdisk.com and grab one of the generic CD boot floppies.  It
may be that your floppy drivers are incompatible with the CD drive you're
trying to use.
