Hi -
[If possible, please respond to my personal email, as I
have trouble finding answers here - I'm new at this.
Thanks! askkrs@aol.com]
I have Windows 95/word 97 and have just upgraded my system
to Windows 2000 (& kept Word 97). I have now seemingly
lost my valuable clip art library that I had painstakingly
custom built over time.
In other words, when I am in my Word 97 document I click
on INSERT (in top menu) then PICTURES and up comes the
usual categories of clip art and pictures gallery. I had
created a FAVORITES folder within that area that I could
select and see all my favorite clip art (from the
Microsoft Office 97 disc) as well as Pictures from my
scanned in photos, etc.
I've been told that, since I kept Word 97 in place when I
made the upgrade to Windows 2000, that it shouldn't affect
the clip art. Sadly, it DID affect it and my library
appears to be lost.
Is there any place it could be? Is there a way to revert
to the old clip art part of my Windows 95? Help!
Thanks
Kris

E-mail support not available - sorry. It is not good practice to post an
e-mail address in the newsgroups as it is likely to be collected by
spammers.
Search for the clipart files by file name. The upgrade has probably removed
a shortcut, but it shouldn't delete files or the folder.
