I have a TOSHIBA Note Book, 300 CDS, running Windows 95.
I had some trouble installing an Ethernet card for a
broadband connection. I order to fix this we had to
uninstall Mcafee Firewall & Virus Scan.
The computer now starts OK, but the following error
message now appears on the Desktop "A required.DLL file,
COMNCTR.DLL was not found". After OKing this message the
computer seems to work OK.
Any suggestions?
Thanks, Brian.

Which is it?
You mention both COMNTR.DLL or COMNCTR.DLL

COMNCTR.DLL appears to be a Logitech MouseWare mouse driver file.
Try reinstalling the mouse driver and software.
