Hi,
I have a USB pen-drive (128 mb) which i wish to use on a win95 laptop
(old ibm thinkpad). It doesnt has usb port, so i went on to have those
cool ps2-to-usb port converters.
Now I can plug my device in but it still doesnt works... i have tried
installing the drivers supplied with my usb-drive to be used on win95.
Do I need to install some special drivers if I plan to use my ps2 port
for usb devices or is something else going wrong?
Help much appreciated,
Sachin Garg

What version of Win95?
The original version (4..00.950 or 4.00.950A) does not support USB at
all.
OSR2 (4.00.950B or C) versions have limited support but are unlikely
to handle modern USB devices.

I think you will find that a USB to PS2 converter would only work for
devices that a PS2 port understands, such as a mouse. So the converter
allows you to use a USB mouse with a PS2 port. I don't think you will get it
to work with just any USB device.
