I have Windows 95 and would like to upgrade, particularly
since so many new programs are not supported by it. But I
have written a number of texts using an old version of
MSOffice, 4.3, and Word 6.0. When I try to open them in a
new version of Windows, the format changes and some of the
diagrams and charts are cut in half. Reformating every
page to accommadte the upgrade would be an impossibe task.
And, I am not even certain tht a newer version of Windows
will accept the old version of Office.

How can I upgrade and maintaun the original format, and
can I be sure that my old programs will be accepted by a
newer version of Windows?

Thanks for your help.

Try the Office group and mention your version of Word or Office.

Please also supply information on what new version of Windows you
tried them on and what version of Word you used.
