The on-pack lists several updates you will likely want to do. You can
either download and install them yourself or get the pack on a CD for
$4.00

I had to reinstall Windows 95 and was shocked to find I it didn't have
any internet software after reinstalling. A techie friend burned
Internet Explorer on CD for me but I couldn't get it to install. I
found the "on-pack" while looking through newsgroups at work and
thought it was worth a try ( see:
http://on-disk.com/product_info.php/products_id/33 ).
Not only did I get the latest version of Internet Explorer for Windows
95 working on my PC, I also have Media Player 7.1 (although the PC
thinks it's 7.0), and Direct X8. The CD was definitely worth the
$4.00. I highly recommend it to anyone who has to reinstall 95!
In addition it came with an Open Office legacy build. I had never
heard of it before but I'm liking it better than the Microsoft Office
I use at work and it has opened every Microsoft file I have tried so
far!
