reply to Ron on boot up problem

Thanks for trying to help me Ron! I tried all you asked
me to, and nothing worked. When I typed in "type
config.sys" in - it came back saying file not found. I
can't get it to find anything. Won't open into the safe
mode either.

Do you have any other ideas? Thanks, Peggie

I would suggest at this stage that you let some expert have a look at
your PC (or even just the HD to retrieve as much of the info on it
that's still left there, if you want your file back ...)
