Windows Forum / Windows 95 / June 2003Upgrade of internet explorer
My hard drive crashed. Had to do complete recovery. Win 95 recovery a ok BUT IE is v3.0. Need to upgrade to IE v5.0!! ie5setup.exe will not work!!!!!!!!!!! What now people. Any help greatly appreciated. You can download the entire setup to your hard drive, from here: http://browsers.evolt.org/?ie/32bit Do NOT 'Install from the current location'. Save it to your hard drive, and run it when off-line, with all programs closed, the screensaver and anti-virus app disabled.
