Can someone please tell me what registry contains the 'version' information?

For example, when I right-click properties of 'My Computer' icon it says I have

System:
Microsoft Windows 95
4.00.950C

What registry holds this version information?

Thanks,
Vic

There is only *one* Registry.  If you mean what Registry key in the Registry, it is in:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion
