My son was on the internet acouple of weeks ago, and
said ' yes' to something.  The next day on boot-up my
system automatically brought up our internet access screen
and automatically began dialing - selecting cancel would
stop the dialing for about 2 seconds, then it would dial
again.
- have succeeded in stopping the auto dialing by changing
a modem register
- cannot list the programs in the boot-up routine;
interrupting the boot by holding down my control button
does not do it

- i need to remove this alien program from my boot-up
- even though it does not auto dial now, if i do not
immediately after boot-up select 'cancel' from my internet
access window then it keeps repeating 'dial-up connection'
until it fills up the entire bottom of my screen - then i
get weird problems that go away with a restart

help please
