How do I rename my computer from "Old Name" to "Robert
Joseph", step by step...please.

Also, can such a change affect the system in any way?

Thanks much,

Robert Joseph

Are you wanting to rename the computer or change the registered owner's
name?  Assuming it is the latter, you can use the attached .reg file to
do it.  Right click the file, edit and read what is there, make the
appropriate entries and save the file.  Then right click the file and
select merge.
