I have 98 on my comp. I bought 98se full ver. I can't
install 98se because I already have 98, how can I install
98se.

in your windows folder...rename win.com

then install win98

be sure *not* to install it in c:\windows.000 as the installer may
default to...
be sure to specify your original windows folder ...usually C:\windows

You did not purchase a Windows 98 SE *full* version.

What you purchased was a Windows 98 SE *OEM* version, which is
specifically intended to be used only on a new computer system. In
fact the CD label almost certainly has wording on it to that effect.

OEM versions will not do an upgrade install, because the new computer
systems they are intended to be used on would not have a previous
version of Windows to upgrade from.

MVP Ron Badour has some information about upgrading with an OEM disk
at http://home.satx.rr.com/badour/html/upgrade.html

Note that most of the methods used for doing this would work with
Windows 95 OEM disks but were very often not usable with Windows 98.
