Sirs,
At one time I was able to view DVD movies (PC Friendly) on
my computer but have been unable to in a long time.  I
downloaded DirectX and am wondering if this prevents me
from viewing movies.
Everytime I try I get a message that my ROM Disk Drive
(D:\) is unavailable, there is no disk in it or something
to that nature.
Have downloaded your WinDVD but it doesn't work either.
Please help me.
Sincerely,
James Boggs

Can you access data DVD disks, or CD-ROM disks in the drive?  I suspect not,
based on the message you are getting. This indicates that the DVD drive is
faulty or is not installed correctly.  You could try uninstalling and
re-installing it, check cables, clean it, etc.
