My cd drive reads some disks like the aol disk but will
not read a data cd burned on a Windows ME computer. I am
running Windows 98 SE. The cd can be read on my friends
Windows 98 computer but can not be read by my computer.
Could I need some type of driver or update?

Start simply ... when's the last time the drive has been cleaned?  Any
standard audio CD player cleaning disc should do the trick.
