I have installed a new hard disk as a secondary master
disk.  When I attempt to install new applications to the
new disk, now the D:\, OS will lock up forcing hot boot.
Some installs will succeed others will completely fail.

Any ideas??

Do you have the jumper switches set correctly?  Sometimes the settings
shown on the drive are misleading--I would check on the maker's web site
or the instructions that came with the drive.  If you have more than one
device on the ribbon cable, did you check the jumper for the other
device?
