I run Windows 98 on an IBM Thinkpad 390E and have only 50
Mb free space left on Drive C.  Because of this I cannot
even do a Windows Security Update.

Drive D has ample free space, 3500 Mb.

What can I do to utilise Drive D?  I already moved
everything that I think can safely be moved from Drive C
to Drive D.

Would be grateful for advice.

To move programmes you need to uninstall and reinstall through Start, Settings, Control Panel, Add / Remove Programs. To move Temporary Internet Files -Start, Control Panel, General tab, Temporary Internet Files, Settings, Move Folder. To relocate Outlook Express store select Tools, Options, Maintenance, Store Folder, Change.

If your My Documents folder is in your C drive then create a My Files folder in your D drive and copy ( not move ) the contents of My Documents to your new folder. Then delete the files in your My Documents folder ( if you encounter problems deleting use Shift + Delete to bypass the Recycle Bin ).

Hope this helps.
