how do I remove programs that are on startup that I don't
need on startup. Also how do I remove programs that are
running thet don't need to be running while computer is on.

  This is a simple way to do what you want and loads
 to your control panel.
   Get startup

>hit the start button and go to run, type msconfig and
hit enter, then at the top of the box there will be tabs
goto startup.then uncheck the programs you don't need to
run at startup
