Windows Forum / Windows 98 / Disks / File System / April 2004one master and one slave disk
Hi all, I installed a 30 gig harddisk as the primary active master with the correct jumper settings and then installed a 2 gig slave primary disk. The motherboard recognized it and assigned it to the d: drive. I can read the disk and copy to it. The problem is that when I shutdown windows, it hangs. If I remove the second disk then it shuts down properly. Sometimes devices just will not be happy together on the same ribbon cable.
