Hi all,
I installed a 30 gig harddisk as the primary active
master with the correct jumper settings and then
installed a 2 gig slave primary disk. The motherboard
recognized it and assigned it to the d: drive. I can
read the disk and copy to it. The problem is that when I
shutdown windows, it hangs. If I remove the second disk
then it shuts down properly.
What gives????
thanks in advances for any help

Try putting the small drive on the secondary EIDE connection and see what
effect that has. Sometimes devices just will not be happy together on the
same ribbon cable.
