Hello,

I would be grateful for any help or information you could
give me.

My computer is refusing to recognise the floppy disk drive
and a message comes up that reads "Disk utility locked".

I don't know what this means and really need some advice.

Please tell us what refusing to recognize it actually means--is it not
lettered, it won't read a disc, etc.  Do you have Norton Utilities
installed?
