Hi

I had a good workung Win98 system with one floppy Disk (A:)
. I installed a second floppy on my system (and set it free
with the bios setting), but Win98 does not recognize the
new floppy. In explorer it is only possible to access to
floppy a:. if I restart in DOs mode it is possible to
access both floppys (so the hardware seem to work fine).

please help with a good tip, thank you

peter

Have you used TweakUI to hide the B Drive? If so unhide it.

Right click My Computer select Properties
On the Performance tab, click on FileSystem, on the Floppy Disk tab check
the Search For New Floppy......
Reboot

or

From Control Panel, run the add hardware wizard, it should detect the floppy
