I did something stupid and bought a practically new
printer at a garage sale, didn't come with any disks
though.  Windows tells me that I need window's 98's second
CD to complete the installation of the new printer.  I
don't have the windows CD's anymore.  Any idea of where to
get them or how to get around this?

Put it in your next garage sale.

See if you have the Windows setup files (search for a folder containing
several dozen files that begin with WIN98 and end with the letters CAB) on
your hard drive, if you do you can tell the driver installer to look there
for the files it needs.  Otherwise you'll need to get a Windows 98 CD to
complete the process and get your printer working.

you could try going to the website of the printer's mfg
and get the drivers
or else try www.driverguide.com
you may be able to install it without the windows cd
